Programs & Services

Six core programs, plus two specialty offerings. Every one is built around the same idea: find the root cause, build the reasoning, then let the student carry the work forward.

Academic Tutoring

Core subjects, taught from the root up

A student struggling with fractions may be missing something from years earlier. Academic tutoring traces back to where the gap started, then rebuilds from there. Math, reading, writing, and science, taught from where the student is, not where the textbook expects them to be.

Critical Thinking & Study Skills

How to think about the work, not just finish it

Students who can do the math but freeze on word problems usually need a different skill: reading carefully, asking what a question is really asking, and checking their own work. We practice the habits that make schoolwork feel less like guessing, note-taking, planning, self-checking, and knowing when an answer cannot be right.

Test Prep

Calm preparation, not last-minute cramming

Test prep works best when it is built on solid fundamentals, not tricks. We walk through the format, practice the question types a student finds hardest, and build the pacing and confidence that make test day feel familiar. For the SAT and ACT, AP exams, and school placement tests.

Passion Projects

Real work on something the student chose

A student who loves space, or chess, or building things often has nowhere in school to take that interest seriously. Passion projects give a student room to research, plan, and build something real, with structure and feedback, but on a topic they picked. The skills carry back into school, and the motivation tends to come with them.

Motivation & Mindset

Working with students who have stopped trying

When a student says they are bad at math, or that school is pointless, that is usually a story built from real experiences. We work through that story honestly: where it came from, what is true now, and what a small win this week would look like. No pep talks. Just steady evidence that effort changes outcomes.

Specialized Support

For students who learn differently

Some students need a slower pace, a different explanation, or extra support around an IEP or 504. Specialized support works with families and, when helpful, with the plans already in place. Built on classroom and intervention experience with English learners and Title I students.
